Fall Bruschetta

If you’re like me and always trying to figure out what to bring to a holiday party or what make for your next gathering, I gotchu. I made this easy Fall Bruschetta App with @colavitausa’s Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and turned it into a delicious glaze topper. Colavita pantry staples make it so easy to trust that a dish will turn out great.⁣

YOU’LL NEED:⁣
1 cup @colavitausa Balsamic Vinegar of Modena⁣
2 tbsp honey or maple syrup⁣
1 French stick loaf⁣
Spreadable honey goat cheese⁣
Arugula⁣
1 sweet potato⁣

HOW TO:⁣
1. Pour your cup of balsamic into a saucepan and add the honey. Bring to a low boil and then reduce the heat to keep at a simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then transfer to an airtight container and let cool on the counter before refrigerating (it will thicken!)⁣

2. Preheat oven to 350. Then slice your baguette into 1/4 inch pieces and lay on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil, then bake for 15 minutes or until crisp. Then increase oven temp to 450.⁣

3. Bake sweet potato for 30 minutes or until soft (make sure you don’t undercook - I made this mistake initially!). While cooking, top your baguette rounds with goat cheese and arugula.⁣

4. Thinly slice roasted sweet potato and arrange on top of each bread round. Then drizzle with your @colavitausa Balsamic Glaze you made. And voila! The perfect festive and easy app!⁣
