Sausage Cheese Balls

Okay photographing little balls of meat/cheese/almond flour in an appetizing way is quite the struggle, but these savory breakfast balls are worth it. High protein, low carb and oh so satisfying.

YOU’LL NEED:
1 pound lean turkey breakfast sausage
4 oz low fat cream cheese
1/2 cup almond flour
1/3 cup flax mea
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
1 beaten egg

HOW TO:
1. Prep oven to 350. Then cook breakfast sausage on stovetop completely. Drain and set aside.

2. Combine sausage with cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.

3.Make sure sausage is almost completely cooled in the bowl, then add all remaining ingredients and fully mix until combined.


3.Ball and place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. I made about 20 total.

4.Bake 16-18 minutes and let cool. Store in fridge!

These are so good to heat up and eat at work for breakfast, I’ve been having them all week. Healthy on the go breakfasts forever.
