Five Ingredient Crockpot Chili
This may be a controversial recipe… but a little canned chili never hurt nobody! This is one of my cozy fall faves. Enhancing a store bought canned option with my favorite protein + some veggies for a delicious and EASY crockpot chili.
YOU’LL NEED:
A slow cooker
1 lb ground turkey
2 cans vegetarian chili of choice (I used @amyskitchen)
1/2 diced sweet onion
2 tbsp chili powder
2 chopped and peeled sweet potatoes
**may need 1/2 cup water or beef broth depending on texture preference
HOW TO:
1. Brown your ground meat until no longer pink, adding 1 tbsp of chili powder.
2. Dump all ingredients into crockpot + second tbsp of chili powder. Stir and combine well.
3. Set crockpot to high for 4 hours (you can also do low for 6.5-7.5 hours). With 1 hour left, check consistency and add water or broth as needed.
4. Serve with cheese, avocado and corn chips! This makes 4-6 servings!
