Protein Packed Baked Ziti

Add to your meal plan this week, this was sooo good! Delicious, macro friendly and the whole family ate it! Inspo from @collegenutritionist


YOU’LL NEED:⁣
2 pounds of protein ziti pasta
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 small diced white onion
1/2 diced zucchini
1/2 cup diced celery
1 tsp minced garlic
Italian seasoning & salt to taste
1 16oz can of crushed tomatoes
1 cup of blended cottage cheese
Handful of shredded mozzarella

HOW TO:⁣
1. Preheat oven to 375. Then boil a large pot of water for your pasta. Separately, heat a large pan on medium heat and add your garlic, onion, celery, zucchini and ground beef.

2. Sauté pan until veggies are cooked through and ground beef has no pink. Then remove from heat.

3. Cook pasta according to directions, then strain. Add pasta and ground beef/veggie mixture to a large baking dish.

4. Pour crushed tomatoes and blended cottage cheese on top of pasta/beef mixture in your dish. Top with Italian seasonings and salt. Combine well.

5. Sprinkle top with mozzarella cheese and put in oven. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes.

Enjoy! This makes four large servings!
